Indigenous Employee Development Program

The Indigenous Employee Development program (IEDP) helps employers who are having trouble finding qualified workers for entry-level or semi-skilled positions. Under this program, new workers develop a training plan for their first year of work. After this period of job-embedded training, workers will be skilled, productive, and ready to contribute to your organization's long-term success. This program also includes a wage subsidy and capacity-building support for employers.
