Looking for support to start your career journey? Nokiiwin's employment readiness program is designed to help participants build confidence, develop workplace skills, and gain valuable paid work experience.
✅ 4 weeks of employment readiness training in a supportive small-group setting
✅ 12 weeks of paid job placement experience with an employer
✅ Open to individuals who self-identify as Indigenous and as having a disability
✅ Access to supports such as childcare assistance, transportation funding, and other employment-related supports to help you succeed
Programs are delivered through the Nokiiwin Tribal Council office in Thunder Bay.
