Nokiiwin needs your voice! Six community-specific grand prize draws will take place on November 30th, 2018 at 2:30 PM on Facebook Live, and each survey and feedback form completed is one ballot for the draw. The Nokiiwin team will be out in the community engaging with membership to develop our current projects, and you can find us in Geraldton on November 14th at the Wills and Estates workshop, and at the Apiwin Student Lounge at Confederation College on November 19th from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Skill Inventory – The Skill Inventory is a web application specially designed to connect Nokiiwin members with regional employers, build community capacity and attract investment. An account can be created at any time using the Google Chrome web browser at www.nokiiwinhr.com. You can get a fillable PDF version by emailing nokiiwin%23com|skills.
Solid Waste Management – Proper solid waste management is essential to the health and sustainability of the environment and Nokiiwin communities. This initiative shares information on how to best dispose of household and commercial waste to avoid harming the environment and impacting personal health and waste diversion initiatives. The Community Resource Guide – The Community Resource Guide was created to identify community resources using the medicine wheel. This gathering provides everyone with an opportunity to give feedback on the resource guide which is now available by clicking here. Complete this feedback form for an entry into the grand prize draws.
Workforce Survey – The Nokiiwin Tribal Council Community Survey is a partnership with Lakehead University organized to understand labour force participation, work productivity and disabilities to foster practical solutions. You can access the survey by click here.
Completing each survey or feedback form will earn Nokiiwin members one ballot for the six grand prize draws taking place at the end of the month. The prize packages valued at $700+ include a 6th generation iPad, gift card and professional resume package.
