Mamowenchige Web-in-Action: Forums

4 Days in September

On September 1st, 2nd, 8th and 9th, Nokiiwin with the support of Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS) and Engage HR will host four (4) forums regarding the recently released regulations for Bill C-65 Violence and Harassment in the Workplace. Each forum will be one and a half hours with a maximum of 30 participants. Each forum will include a presentation about Section 8 and 12 of the regulations, Q&A, and a breakout session to help guide future training and tools. We intend these sessions to be collaborative so that everyone will be better prepared when these amendments come into force on January 1, 2021. Sue Freeman is a Program Manager, Communications and Mental Health Co-Champion at CCOHS. She has a Masters of Science, Marketing plus Post-Graduate Certificates in Emotional Intelligence, Psychotherapy and Positive Psychology. She will present about the pending legislation and regulations in relationship to civility, respect, psychological protection and creating healthy workplaces.

A Web-in-action event is designed to be interactive and includes breakout groups for the participants to discuss ideas and network. If possible please join with your camera on as this makes the event more engaging for everyone attending.
