The Tribal Council Program (TCP) is one component of the First Nation Indian Government Support Funding Program as provided through Indian and Northern Affairs Canada (INAC) support. The program was introduced in 1984 and operates under broad authorities provided by the same federal department.

Specific advisory services have been "devolved" from INAC and subsequently passed on to Nokiiwin Tribal Council who is responsible for the provision of these services to our affiliated membership communities.
